Position Summary

Billing Services Specialist 1 – This position is responsible for preparing monthly billing invoices and support for the

firm’s departments and BU’s, processing all billing transactions accurately and in a timely manner, monitoring invoices for

accuracy and are billed in accordance with contract terms, resolving billing issues and ensures timely invoicing, as well as gathering

and organizing appropriate data to support the completion of business documents and reports.

 

Skill sets required include:

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel), 10 Key Calculator and general working knowledge of a CRM application
  • Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills
  • Work well independently and in a team with positive attitude, professional presence and exceptional customer service
  • High energy level with ability to multi-task while balancing and prioritizing daily responsibilities
  • Desire to leverage technology to solve business problems
  • Reliable and dependable with an excellent attendance and punctuality record
  • Demonstrate openness to new challenges and opportunities as well as continuous learning
  • Able to work core business hours of the firm
  • Ability to function in high stress situations and build strong working relationships at all levels, internal and external to the organization while responding to client service issues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Familiar with financial/accounting terminology and impact of financial transactions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years’ work experience in a professional services, financial or accounting environment.
  • Bachelor/Associate degree in accounting or business administration a plus, but not required.
