Position Summary

Crowe Horwath is looking for a BI Engineer with strong SSAS Tabular development and deployment experience. This developer will be helping form the data, analysis, and presentation layers of a burgeoning service offering. Expectations of this role include the ability to develop tabular models in Visual Studio data tools, deploy models, manipulate data via DAX, and a grasp of TMSL. Will also be utilizing SQL to manipulate and create data structures necessary for underlying SSAS Tabular modeling endeavors.


  • 3+ years working with SSAS Tabular (required)
  • Experience creating Roles, Perspectives, and Row Filters with DAX
  • Experiencing creating complex measures with DAX
  • 2+ years working with T-SQL (required)
  • Experience with Power BI (strongly preferred)
  • Azure Analysis Services experience a plus
  • Strong grasp of BI design patterns
