    Position Summary

    Crowe Horwath is looking for an experienced Business Analyst within our Applied Technology practice. Responsibilities include:

     

    • Identifies, gathers and understands business needs, processes, and requirements from business stakeholders and clients
    • Schedules, coordinates, and facilitates envisioning sessions with stakeholders to identify and drive the product vision
    • Owns maintaining and prioritizing the team backlog and iterations are planned with defined goals
    • Responsible for ensuring appropriate product demonstrations are conducted
    • Validates completed works meets acceptance criteria and has the appropriate tests, and that it otherwise complies its Definition of Done (DoD).
    • Foster collaborative relationships across project team (development team and stakeholders) in order to ensure the "Why" and "Vision" is understood
    • Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) team to assist in development of test case strategy and execution of User Acceptance Testing


    Qualifications

     

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner role
    • Experience with UI / UX design to display visual requirements and concepts
    • Project Management or Agile related certification desired
    • Experience working on a project or multiple projects with many stakeholders and competing priorities initiatives
    • Experience leading other owners in an Agile fashion
    • Experience in a fast pace environment with established commitments and expected results
    • Excellent organization skills with a self-starter mentality and resourceful in solving problems to ensure teams have what they need to deliver
    • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
    • Any experience in building specific product or solutions in the following areas is desired, but not required:
      • Enterprise Web Applications, Platform Solutions, Tax & Accounting Solutions, Business Intelligence, or Process Automation
