    Position Summary

    Location:  Lexington, KY

      

    Job Summary:

    This role will be part of our Cybersecurity team in our 24x7 Security Intelligence Center and will be responsible for providing Monitoring, Detection and Response (MDR) services for our clients environments.  This includes identifying, analyzing, investigating potential security threats and incidents and supporting the clients’ remediation efforts. This role will work closely with other client and Crowe teams as part of an overall Cybersecurity program. 

     

    In addition, this role will: 

    • Open cases and update services tickets.
    • Provide timely escalation of cases to client and/or Crowe personnel.
    • Participate in threat, incident, and security research that results in process and rule improvement based on changing factors in InfoSec.
    • Participate and complete in daily shift change meetings and other team transitions, as required.

    Qualifications

     

    Educational and Professional Credentials: 

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security or related field is required.
    • 2-4 years of experience in an operations or engineering role within an information security operations role is required.
    • Experience as a security analyst, technical and/or business disciplines is preferred.
    • Certification such as CISSP or CCNP, or willingness to obtain certification is strongly preferred.
